Wayne Anderson is a local artist in Ft. Myers,
FL. He has been painting and drawing for years. He enjoys: sport fishing,
fly-fishing and free diving to photograph marine life for his paintings. Wayne see’s fish and
their environment like it’s a painting that could manifest. He has used a wide variety of mediums,
(pastels, acrylics, ect.) and finds that oil paints are for him. They blend well and have a longer life than any other medium.
Also, He adds a different look to all of his paintings by building custom, one of kind frames out of: Driftwood,
Bamboo, Oak, Indian rose wood, and Cedar . When the frame and painting come together, it's really
a different look that you probably have'nt seen before. He say’s “The men love
the fish and the women love the frame and it's colors.” It truly is a piece of furniture.
Wayne has fished all around Florida and is searching for his next great painting.
